Happy Mother’s Day 2010

Mother’s Day is for remembering sacrifices and giving unconditional love for our upliftment.

Mother is kind and Mother is merciful. When children make mistakes or have faults, Mother gives forgiveness and removes children’s sorrow and pain through unconditional love. Love is never seeking any expectations. The mother’s kindness is like the depth of the ocean.

Children cannot understand the purity of the mother’s kindness. The greatness of the mother’s heart and love can remove all the children’s sorrows. She is the embodiment of mercy and the key that releases us from bondage in the phenomenal world. The mother will always make sacrifices to relieve children’s sorrow and pain. Children will not understand the mother’s sacrifice and suffering until they mature and realize the truth of her loving heart.

One day as children grow and become mothers and fathers they will realize that through the mother’s care and loving sacrifice she took all the burdens from them. What do we owe our mothers on this auspicious day? What can I offer the Mother for her unconditional love on this special day. There are not enough gifts to offer her for the depth of her love. I can only pay to her my humble respects and take care of her health.

New Year Message 2010

Swami wishes each and every devotee all over the world peace, harmony and prosperity. Wherever there is pain, grief and sorrow, happiness and unhappiness, Swami prays that God will give everyone good thoughts and peace.

Without thinking, we cannot get happiness. We need to have peace and happiness in our minds and do good in the world. We all want happiness and peace, good health and harmony. All these are residing within us.

Unless you are able to assimilate criticism and scolding from those nearest and dearest to you, how are you going to face criticism from the world at large?

We may strive for world peace, joy and harmony through universal service and love. Real service is work done out of purity and compassion – the perfection of a true life of love. Where there is unity and service to humanity there will be happiness and peace.

When human beings become wise they can dispel the darkness and ego and turn to God. May mercy, compassion and infinite love come to the human mind in service.

We should gather together for constant remembrance of the Divine Holy name. We are all like children in front of Him.

I wish each and everybody on this special occasion good health, peace and prosperity.

Merry Christmas and a Healthy, Peaceful and Prosperous New Year to all…

Christmas is a celebration of unconditional, infinite love and compassion. It is a celebration of symbolic sacrifice and love. Jesus is the embodiment of Pure and Unconditional Love and Supreme Peace. May the entire Universe be ever Peaceful and Joyful from His Blessings.

I wish everybody Health, Peace, Happiness and Prosperity on this Holy Day and a very Happy New Year to all.

Let us strive for the unity and brotherhood of all Humanity. May there be everlasting Peace and Happiness in the entire Universe.

Devi Bhagavatam December 11th – 20th

A 10-day celebration to pay homage to the Divine Mother began on December 11th at Swami’s Chaithanya Puri Ashram. On each day of this programme priests will perform 3 pujas, and 3 meals will be cooked and distributed to everyone present. Visitors from many different countries, as well as hundreds of people from surrounding districts, will be present and participate in the ritual sharing of food – which is called annadanam.

Everyone, including all devotees and disciples, are most welcome to attend Chaithanya Puri Ashram on this special occasion.

You are invited to make a contribution towards the pujas and annadanam. By making an offering this will bring the benefits of peace, happiness, prosperity and harmony to you and your family.

This is a unique and wonderful opportunity where all obstacles and difficulties will be ameliorated.

Oh, Mother!
Your life is an eternity of Divine Love and your
courtesy is as wide as the sky. Your womb is the
Divine ocean. Your heart is like being in Heaven.
With each action you give us knowledge. We are
all in the shade of your eternal love.
You take care of us like a spring in the ocean.
Your love is like a wave in the Divine sea.
Each time we fall you take careof us, and when
we are upset you don’t sleep- you suffer.
You give us your compassion and love.
How can we forget you and your beautiful
smile- like the full moon, washing away
the pain and sorrow from our hearts.
You give nourishment to all like a Divine
feast, and your breast milk is Divine
medicine, which gives us life eternal.
Only our Mother can give us this

Swami’s Birthday Celebrations

Below is a video taken on Swami’s 45th birthday. It covers the whole day’s events, from the morning puja to the very substantial lunch! The final music in the film was recorded on Swami’s birthday, and was performed by Sri Dhharamenon, a well known Indian classical singer. Just under 2000 people attended the event, and everyone left feeling happy and well fed.

School visit to Chaithanya Puri

A class of around 30 school children visited the Chaithanya Puri ashram on 7th February. They sang bhajans with Swami in the new Spiritual Centre, and then Swami provided food for them. Take a look at the video below:
