Swami’s message at Guru Sangamam event

Blessed Souls,
I am extremely pleased to have the opportunity to participate in this unique event of Guru Sangamam. On this auspicious occasion, let us pray from the heart to bestow this universe with peace and harmony.
Guru teaches us that the entire universe is only a reflection of God. Because we are unable to comprehend this truth, we suffer in this world. Only Guru can lead us to the realization of this truth. Bharath is the heart of the world. There can be no world without India. This world is sustained only by the blessings of our Rishis. We must wipe away all dualities and ill-feelings and attain unity of spirit and be peaceful.
Peacefulness has to come from within each one of us. There is no point in searching for the same outside. What is not within cannot be outside. Find peace inside and then radiate it to the outside. Our Rishis have told us – Asatoma Sadgamaya, Tamaso ma Jyothir Gamaya, Mrithyor ma Amritam Gamaya. Not only that! Loka Samasta Sukhino Bhavantu…What is lacking in the world today is just that.
Because we live in an illusionary world full of selfishness and conflicts, we don’t experience peace – neither within nor without. All should have unity of thoughts, words and deeds. God resides in everyone and only love and compassion to our fellow beings is the best offering to Him. May each one of us strive and succeed in bringing peace within and without by His grace. Let me offer my heartful prayers at His feet so that the entire world experience Peace, Happiness and Harmony.
